The role of Recycled Polyester

-75% carbon emissions
Carbon dioxide emissions are the primary driver of global climate change. Recycled polyester requires less energy and its production has less around 75% CO2 emissions, when comparing to virgin polyester.

-90% water comsumption
The textile industry is one of the major consumers of water. The production of recycled polyester uses about 90% less water than production of virgin polyester and has almost no water footprint, when compared to natural fibres, such as cotton.
No dependence on petroleum and natural gas
Recycled polyester doesn’t require crude oil and natural gase to be produced, lowering the demand for new raw materials extraction and reducing the overall carbon footprint.
Less waste in landfills and oceans
Recycled polyester gives a second life to materials that are not biodegradable and would otherwise end up in landfill or the oceans.
